Testimonials About Our Insurance Claims Adjustment and Restoration Services from Chicago Area Home and Business Property Owners

Dear Mark:

This is just note to fill you in on what is happening with the 1917 N. Lincoln problem. Currently, my attorneys are answering several of the defendant’s interrogatories. Your (Musick Loss Management, Inc.) breakdown of my loss is excellent. If it impresses the court as much as it has my attorneys and me, we should come out quite well. Also, thanks for doing a great job on our Alsip loss. I thought your people were well qualified and handled the insurance company beautifully.

Sincerely,
Benjamin B. Weiss

Dear Mark:

On behalf of the 2108 N. Halsted Partnership, an affiliate of Lincoln Park Builders of Chicago, I want to offer my sincere thanks for the prompt, professional manner in which you handled our recent loss.

Your professionalism, and results achieved would allow me, without hesitation, to recommend your loss adjustment service to others in need of a Public Adjustor.

Sincerely,
Joeseph L. Dombrowski

Re:

On September 19, a fire occurred in the forty-story-tall Chinese American Museum of Chicago (CAMOC) building at 238 West 23rd Street in Chicago, Illinois. The fire began on the third floor. The fire partially destroyed the third structure and all of the contents stored there, totally destroyed the structure. Water from the fighting efforts damaged interior finishes at the basement and at the first and second floors. The water also destroyed or damaged many of the artifacts that were on display in the exhibition space at the first and second floors of the building at the time of the fire.

On the day of the fire, CAMOC representatives met and discussed the situation with representatives of Musick Loss Management, Inc. (MLM) and reviewed MLM’s credentials. Based upon the discussions and upon the results of the review of MLM’s credentials, CAMOC hired MLM to stabilize and board up the fire-damaged building, and to work with the insurance company on behalf of CAMOC to obtain a fair claim for the damage the fire and water caused to the building and its contents. MLM quickly and satisfactorily performed this work.

Subsequently, CAMOC hired MLM as the general contractor to perform the following construction work in the building:

  1. Repair of the fire damage and restore the building to its pre-fire condition.
  2. Improve the original condition of the interior of the building at the basement, third, and fourth floors.
  3. Install new heating and air conditionings systems.
  4. Improve the electrical and water supply to the building.
  5. Install a new elevator.
  6. Install a new sprinkler system.
  7. Construct a new grade level lot.

I was appointed by the CAMOC Board of Directors as the Museum Reconstruction Manager.

The construction work on the building began in the spring and was completed in the fall (the following year). The construction work performed by MLM was excellent. MLM’s project manager for the construction work was Jeff Schwarte. Jeff is very knowledgeable and is very experienced in construction work. During the construction, he was very responsive to the needs of the construction project and of CAMOC. He provided timely and effective supervision of MLM’s subcontractors.

CAMOC is very pleased with the construction work performed on the building by MLM and by Jeff Schwarte and recommends them for the performance of similar work on other buildings.

Sincerely,
Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates, INC.

Mark,

I wanted to send a quick note to express my appreciation for the work you have done in rebuilding our home. Shortly after the fire in our building, I had a brief conversation with you in a friend’s condo.  I knew right then we were join got contract with you.

The experience of Musick Loss Management was observed immediately. Navigating through the city departments, insurance companies and other agencies must have been a full time job. I really appreciate the level of detail that was given, not only to the building, but to each specific unit as well. We are extremely pleas with the outcome in our unit – from the assistance in design and layout to the completion. Working with Al and Karen was great and Jeff really seems to be the guy that makes it all happen.

So to the team at Musick Loss Management I say thank you for going above and beyond and exceeding all my expectations.

Sincerely,
Matt Grote

Gentlemen:

It seems that we have been using your firm’s and you predecessor’s company forever. And we wish to thank you once again for you outstanding performance and device in settling our latest fire loss. In the past we have used other adjusting companies a few times, and we were never satisfied with their results. They always settled short of what it would take to ultimately repair the damage and they always made excuses that the delays weren’t their fault, but rather they blamed itt on the insurance companies. Your firm, however, has always been able to settle in a timely manner and we will never forget your answer when we asked you how you were able to do so much better. You said. “We get better and faster settlements, because the insurance companies have learned that we always demand and get everything our client is entitled to, and when we go in to settle a claim we are using highly skilled staff, who have great expertise in the claims adjusting arena”.

Personally, we couldn’t agree more, and we assure you that now and in the future MLM & Associates, Inc., is and will be our public adjusting company.

Once again, Thanks and if you ever require a reference, please have them call us directly. You are the consummate professional, and we always benefit by using your service.

Sincerely,

Dear Mark:

I wanted to be sure and “officially” thank you for getting us through the fire loss experienced at our condo building on September 20. I know this letter is late in coming, but I want you to know how much we all appreciate what you did to get our building back in shape. Not only were you and your workers there past midnight on the evening go the fire, you continued to work with us with no involvement from the insurance company. Day after day I knew I could count on your assistance. You were always just a phone call away and willing to do what needed to be done. Your professionalism and knowledge got us through this situation. Again, thank you. Any one experiencing a traumatic loss such as we had would do well to have your company working with them.

Sincerely,
Sharon Sachse
